She had been active since 1947 and was credited with movies including Nancy Drew, freedom writers, up front, hometown girl and many others.
She is also famous for her sound in the movie, The Little Mermaid.
She started acting in a local act they had moved to Los Angeles. She also provided the voices for a number of animated series. Carroll was a Tony Award nominee and a recipient of the Emmy award, Drama Desk and Grammy awards.
