Peggy Ann Jordan was born and raised in Chattanooga. Peggy Ann Jordan worked as a realtor and medical secretary. Leslie and her identical twin sisters Jana Lynn and Janet Ann were among the three children she had with Major Allen Bernard Jordan after they were married on October 10, 1953.

Peggy attended East Lake and Osborne Elementary Schools. She then transferred to Central High School, where many of her brothers and sisters had previously attended, after attending Rossville High School for one year. Peggy Ann Jordan was a “High Stepper” Majorette, an ROTC Sponsor, and a part of the Anchors Aweigh Social.
The late Peggy Ann Jordan was born to Homer H. Griffin and Mary Lucille Johnson Griffin.

Peggy Ann Jordan’s obituary has been published by his family. She passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 86. In a tribute post, Leslie Jordan said “We lost mama but she will live on forever in our memories and stories. Love you, mama, and always will. Love. Light.”
