Petra Marti only played in one grass competition in 2010, Wimbledon. She beat British No. 1 Elena Baltacha in the first round.

She was supposed to play Marion Bartoli in the second round, however, she had to pull out due to injury. Petra Marti is a Croatian professional tennis player.

In January 2020, she reached her highest singles position of her career, No. 14. Marti has won one WTA Tour singles title, the Istanbul Cup, and reached the quarterfinals of the 2019 French Open.

On December 14, 1969, Michael Geserer, a former professional tennis player from Germany, was born.

Michael Geserer Biography

Geserer, a Regensburg native, began playing tennis when he was 17 years old. After graduating from high school in 1989, he spent a year in the military before turning professional in 1991.

He reached world number 189 throughout his career and competed in the qualifying stages of all four grand slam tournaments.

His greatest ATP Tour results were in the 1995 Arizona Tennis Championships and the 1995 Dutch Open, both of which he lost to Stefan Edberg.

He formerly coached WTA Tour player Julia Görges and Australian Open finalist Jennifer Brady in 2021.
