Pratap Pothan is a producer, director, writer, and actor. “Chaitanya,” a Telugu film starring Nagarjuna, was directed by Akkineni. He produced eleven films in Tamil and Malayalam as a director. As an actor, he has appeared in many Tamil and Malayalam movies. In “Maro Charitra,” Varun portrayed Sandesh’s father; in “Chuckallo Chandra,” Siddharth portrayed Prakash; and in “Akali Rajyam,” Kamal Haasan played a part. His most recent appearance was in the Malayalam film CBI 5. Three other Malayalam movies are reportedly being shot.
