While biking with First Lady Jill Biden in a state park near their beach property in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, he stopped to talk to passers-by.
In front of a small crowd of well-wishers and media, the president acknowledged that he had lost his balance while attempting to extricate a foot from a bike clip.

The upshot was “a mad scramble of Secret Service and media,” according to a White House pool report, with no visible cuts or bruises as a result of the collision.
“There is no need for medical help,” a White House spokesman said.
The White House stated, “The President wishes to spend the remainder of the day with his family.”
As the oldest US president, Biden’s health is constantly scrutinized, especially as talk grows about whether he will run for re-election in 2024.
Biden injured his foot while playing with his favorite German Shepherds in November 2020, just after his election but before entering office.
