President Nana Addo has come out to declare a holiday for all schools until further notice as a preventive measure against Coronavirus.
In an address which was telecast live on TV, the Head of State directed that all schools children from Kindergarten to University Level must not go to school.
In the exception of SHS 3 and JHS 3 students who’re preparing for their final exams — WASSCE and BECE. This applies to both public and private schools.
He also banned funerals and directed that funerals must be private and at most, only 25 people should attend.
All forms of social gatherings such as churches, conferences, workshops, political rallies among others have also been suspended.
