Katz’s passing was announced by his family and he was 79years at the time of his death. He was born on February 7, 1943, in Los Angeles where he had his high school and college education. He was a Jet fighter pilot in the U.S Marines.
Lately, he had been operating on different projects comprising a feature-length motion picture, based on a novel and screenplay by Jo Harper titled Delfino’s journey.
Katz was also working on a mini-series which entails the life of Gen.Norman Schwarzkopf, which is about his bestselling autobiography It Doesn’t Take A Few, Katz is one of the executive producers in that project.
Katz has left behind his wife, Patricia Brown with a stepdaughter, Victoria Flores, and two-step grandkids.
