Robin Zentner, is a German football player, who was born on 28 October 1994, he currently plays for Bundesliga team Mainz 05 as agoalkeeper.

He was a SpVgg Eltville player up until 2006, when he joined the 1. FSV Mainz 05 youth squad. Zentner participated actively in the Mainz team there from 2012 until 2015.

He was promoted to the senior squad as their third custodian in the 2014–2015 campaign. He was loaned to Holstein Kiel, in the third tier, in August 2015, and the loan agreement was extended for the following season in 2016–2017. Before coming back to Mainz in 2017–2018, he played 26 times over the course of two seasons in Northern Germany.

Zentner participated in his first competitive game for the first squad when rejoining Mainz 05 for the 2017–2018 campaign, in October 2017.

He became famous for an “air kick” during one of his matches on November 4, 2017, against Borussia Mönchengladbach, after mistaking the penalty spot for the ball after a backpass, which almost led to a goal.

He shared the starting goalkeeper position with Florian Müller for the first half of each of his first two seasons after returning from a loan, before taking over for him early in the 2019–20 campaign. He missed the rest of the season after tearing his cruciate ligament on March 8, 2020, during a Bundesliga game.
