質問 なぜ人々はイエス様を救い主として受け入れないの？ 答え イエス様を救い主として受け入れるかどうかの決心は人生で一番重大な物です。ではなぜ多くの人々はイエス様を拒むのでしょうか？イエス様を受け入れない理由は人それぞれ沢山あるでしょうが、下記の４つが主な理由です。 １）自分には救い主など必要無いと思う人々がいます。この様な人達は自分は「基本的には善人」だと思っている人達で、全人類と同じ様に自分の力では神様のもとにたどり着けない事に気付いていないのです。しかしイエス様は、「わたしが道であり、真理であり、いのちなのです。わたしを通してでなければ、だれひとり父のみもとに来る事はありません」(ヨハネ１４章６節）と言っています。イエス様を拒んだ人達は神様の御前で自分の為に弁明をして成功する事は無いのです。 ２）社会的な排除や迫害への恐れは人々がイエス様を救い主として受け入れない理由のひとつです。ヨハネ１２章４２－４３節の不信者達は神様の御心を行うよりも社会的地位や肩書きの方が大切であったからイエス様を救い主と公言する事はしませんでした。これらのパリサイ人達は肩書きとと他人からの評価への愛に目がくらんだのです。「彼らは、神からの栄誉よりも、人の栄誉を愛したからである。」 ３）ある人々にとってはこの現世での物事の方が永遠の物事よりも魅力的に見えてしまいます。マタイ１９章１６－２３節にはイエス様との永遠の関係を築くためにこの世の所有物を手放せなかった男性の物語が書かれてあります。（第二コリント４章１６－１８節参照） ４）多くの人々はただ彼らをキリストへの信仰へと導こうとしている聖霊様の働きに逆らっています。初代教会の指導者達の一人であるステパノは自分を殺そうとしている人達にこう言いました。「かたくなで、心と耳とに割礼を受けていない人たち。あなたがたは、父祖たちと同様に、いつも聖霊に逆らっているのです」（使途７章５１節）。また使途パウロも似た様な事を福音を拒んだ人々に使途２８章２３－２７節で言っています。 人々がイエス様を拒む理由が何であれ、イエス様を拒む事にはとてもひどい永遠の結果がついてきます。「この方以外には、だれによっても救いはありません。天の下でこの御名のほかに、私たちが救われるべき名は人に与えられていないからです」（使途４章１２節）。そしてどの様な理由であれイエス様を拒む人たちは地獄という「外の暗やみ」で「泣いて歯ぎしりする」永遠と直面するのです（マタイ２５章３０節）。 [English] [日本語のホームページに戻る] なぜ人々はイエス様を救い主として受け入れないの？ Notice: JavaScript is required for this content.
