The Texas Rangers, New York Yankees, and Baltimore Orioles were his previous Major League Baseball teams, which he played for. Prior to being called up to the MLB squad in 2014, he spent all of 2011 playing for Texas’ minor league affiliates. On November 23, 2021, Odor was released after being traded by the Rangers to the Yankees.
Odor signed a $425,000 signing bonus when he joined the Texas Rangers in 2011 as an international free agency. He was swiftly assigned to the Spokane Indians of the Class A-Short Season Northwest League by the Rangers.
