Two MPs from the country’s two largest political parties engaged in a heated debate in the TV3 studios. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has finally accepted Ghana’s request for a financial rescue. Television presenter Dzifa Bampoe presented this subject to her panel of experts and solicited their thoughts on it for her show, The Keypoints, on TV3.
For the first time, according to Isaac Adongo, the administration is acting rationally. A comprehensive plan should be devised to get the country back to its feet, he said. As far as he was concerned, Covid-19 and the Ukraine-Russian conflict were not to blame for Ghana’s economic woes. Nhyiaeso MP Dr. Stephen Amoah, on the other hand, was not on board.

“Sticka” says that Ghana’s government is entitled to seek help from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). It wasn’t just the NPP that was to blame for Ghana’s issues, he said, but the previous administration.

A few of the data Adongo had cited as examples are, in fact, fabrications aimed at undermining the government’s reputation. Adongo and Amoah got into a verbal spat at one point. Sticka has decided to stop the program because of the way he is being tampered with. Adongo and his ex-girlfriend had “ambushed” him on the show, which made him feel as if he had been taken advantage of.

Sticka was asked by the host if the government had a plan in place if the IMF program gets underway. After being asked the question, Sticka was upset and wondered why. Because he had recently returned from the UK, he admitted that he had no knowledge.
