One of his most notable contributions was his role as a host in Seven Sports’ coverage of the Olympics for over 20 years.
Before his successful career, Sandy Roberts initially worked as a copyboy for the Adelaide News. He then embarked on his journey in the media industry, starting with the Perth radio station 6 PM. After spending two years traveling extensively across Europe, Roberts began his tenure as an announcer for Radio 3CS Colac in Australia.
In 1971, Sandy Roberts made a career transition to become a newscaster at BCV8-TV in Bendigo.
