In 2015, he joined fellow league team Valencia CF, where he performed admirably. He returned to his Celta league and signed a five-year contract.

Santi Mina was convicted guilty of sexually abusing a lady by a Spanish court, while UD Ibiza defender David Goldar was acquitted of being an accomplice. On Wednesday, a court in Almeria, Spain, acquitted Mina of rape but found him guilty of sexual abuse and sentenced him to four years in prison.
