Sean Paul is one of the few artists who is well known in the Reggae and dance-hall genre. Sean Paul who has been nominated for the Grammy’s severally, finally won the award with his song “Dutt Rock”.
The Jamaican artist has been ranked number one on the United States Billboard hot. Paul rose to the top with his single”get busy” and “temperature”.
His collaboration with other artists such as Beyonce, the Saturdays, Clean Bandit and Sia saw those songs rocking so well.

The Jamaican was born in Kingston to mother Frances and father Garth Henriques. Sean Paul’s mother is said to be a painter and is of English-Chinese descent. Paul’s grandfather is of a Sephardic Jewish origin who migrated to the current Jamaican.
His father Garth Henriques is said to be part of the Water Polo team in the 1960s.
He is reported to have also competed in long-distance swimming. Sean Paul can be described as coming from a swimming family as his mother was also a butterfly swimmer.
