The tragic incident that occured at Akyem Batabi in the Eastern region on the 20th October when the Church of Prosperity building collapsed on the members during their church activities.
The accident led to the death many members whiles the others were seriously injured.
There was one particular taxi driver by the name Mr. Kwame Appiah Koduah who is been applauded by Ghanaians for his selfless act in helping rescue the members locked up under the collapsed building.
According to what happened, the man was able to get 17 members trapped under the collapsed building safely.
Mr.Koduah’s tremendous performance has been noticed by the Ghana army officials and has offered him the opportunity to join the army immediately.
Also the National Disaster Management Organisation(NADMO) under the Eastern region department has given the hero the offer to join their rescue team to help save lives with the skills he possessed.
