In August 2018, Santos and Italiano extended their contract until the middle of 2020. Santos scored nine goals in 16 league games for Audax in 2018, making him the team’s leading scorer.
He helped the squad to the Copa Chile final, where they were defeated by Palestino, and qualify for the 2018 Copa Sudamericana.
On July 8, 2022, FC Cincinnati acquired Santos from the Philadelphia Union.
He agreed to join the club in exchange for $300,000 in allocation funds, with an additional $625,000 contingent on meeting performance-based metrics or contract terms.
