Shashl was born in Zimbabwe’s capital city of Harare. She became the first female musician from Zimbabwe to work for Universal Music Africa.
Zimbabwe’s Harare is where Shashl was born. She is an ancestor of the late Obadiah Moyo, Zimbabwe’s minister of health. She acquired her early education at the Harare Hellenic Secondary School.
Shashl started her career in 2017 with the release of her first song, No More. Then, under the management of Universal Music, she made her debut single project, Blow it in the Wind, available. At the 8th African Muzik Magazine Awards, she was nominated for the best female artist in the Southern African region (AFRIMMA). At the Zimbabwe Music Awards, she was also named Best Newcomer.
Levels Chillspot’s Highway, the debut 14-track album by Shashl, was made available on March 14, 2022. A romantic relationship existed between Levels and Shashl. Zimdancehall vocalist and musician Levels Chillspot is from Zimbabwe. Levels Chillspot and Dj Fantan founded Chillspot Recordz.
