Reports are rife that dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has endorsed the NPP party.
There are screenshots roaming on social media to confirm that. The screenshots have a photo of Shatta sticking one finger out with a tweet of him urging people to vote for Nana Addo who is number 1 on the 2020 election ballot paper.
“Let’s give Nana Addo four more years to do more for you and me. My vote is for the president. Vote number 1 on the ballot paper”, the message from the viral tweet read.
After Celebrities Buzz saw this screenshot, we decided to fact-check and see if indeed Charles Nii Armah Mensah as he’s known in real life actually endorsed the ruling party.
From our checks, we can conclude that he never did. The viral screenshot was photoshopped and circulated by some faceless individuals who wanted to mislead the public.
Shatta Wale didn’t make any tweet of that sort so please let’s all disregard those viral reports.
