The skeletal remains of a 61-year-old woman were discovered on her living room sofa after she died more than two years ago.

Sheila Seleoane, the medical secretary, was discovered on Friday, July 15, in her home in Peckham, South London. After being told that her balcony door was still swinging open following Storm Eunice, the cops busted through her door.

Ms Bent, who lived in the same corridor on the fourth floor of the block in Lord’s Court, Peckham, claimed Seleoane’s body was found close to deflated pink party balloons.

The Daily Mail said that soon after her death, neighbours noticed the scent of rotting flesh.

According to neighbour Ayesha Smith, the housing association was alerted at least 50 times, but nothing was done.

Korrina White, 33, said her child noticed flies flying from behind Ms. Seleoane’s door while playing in the corridor. Another neighbour commented, “It’s revolting.

When I returned from a trip abroad in October 2019, I discovered a horrible stink in the building. I had to place a towel under the door because it was that awful.”

She mentioned concerns about whether the gas was turned off. Additionally, it’s been said that the tenant owed hundreds of pounds in overdue rent. According to Peabody’s records, Sheila last paid off her rent in April 2020 in August 2019.
