On October 28, 2010, in the 12th Tournoi Val de Marne ’10 in France, he made his debut for the Netherlands under-16 squad, which lost to Portugal 1-0.
At the International Youth Tournament in Portugal on February 6, 2011, he scored his first goal for the under-16 team in a 4-1 victory over Israel.
