He is currently fighting for his life and is in critical condition.
Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced at a press conference on Friday that Abe is receiving emergency care at the Nara Medical University hospital, where doctors are frantically trying to save him.
Kishida believed that this behaviour was unacceptable. “We will comprehend the issue and take appropriate action.”
Japan’s defence minister, Nobuo Kishi, told journalists that Abe was receiving a blood transfusion. He is the younger sibling of Abe.

Shinzo Abe was raised in a well-known family. His paternal grandfather Kan Abe and Nobusuke Kishi were both Japanese politicians.
His father, Shintaro Abe, was Kan Abe’s grandson. From 1937 to 1946, Kan was a member of the House of Representatives.
On January 30, 1846, he passed away in Tokyo.
Shinzo Abe inherited Nobusuke Kishi from his mother, Yoko Kishi. Nobusuke, a Japanese politician, presided over the country from 1957 to 1960.
Prior to World War II, Kishi was the de facto “economy king” of Manchukuo, a puppet state of Japan in Northern China, and invaded China.
He served as Vice-Minister of Munitions in Prime Minister Hideki Toj’s cabinet during the conflict. On August 7, 1987, he passed away in Tokyo.
