質問 神に信頼するにはどうすればいいの？ 答え 私たちには知らない人に信頼する事は容易ではありませんし、神との信頼関係においても同様の事が言えます。誰かがあなたに「信頼して」と言ったなら、答えは「もちろん、信頼する」か、「なぜあなたを信頼するべきなの？」の二択でしょう。ですから、神を信頼するためにはなぜ神が信頼に値する方であるのかを知るべきでしょう。 私たちが神に信頼するべきなのは、神が信頼に値する方だからです。人間とは違い、神は偽ったり約束を破ったりしません。「神は人間ではなく、偽りを言うことがない。人の子ではなく、悔いることがない。神は言われたことを、なさらないだろうか。約束されたことを成し遂げられないだろうか。」(民数記23:19; 詩篇89:34)。人間とは違い、神はご自分のご計画を達成する力を持っておられます。イザヤ14:24には「万軍の主は誓って仰せられた。『必ず、わたしの考えたとおりに事は成り、わたしの計ったとおりに成就する。』」と書いてあります。それに加え、神のご計画は完全で、聖なる、義なるものであり、神はすべてのことを働かせて益としてくださる(ローマ8:28)のです。神をみ言葉を通して知るならば、神は私たちの信頼に値する方方であり、私たちは日々神に対する信頼に成長するでしょう。神を知る事は神を信頼する事に繋がるのです。 私たちはまた、自らの、また人々の生活を通して神が信頼に値する方である事を知る事ができます。I列王記8:56には「約束どおり、ご自分の民イスラエルに安住の地をお与えになった主はほむべきかな。しもべモーセを通して告げられた良い約束はみな、一つもたがわなかった。」神の約束はその成就と一緒に聖書に記されています。神がご自分の民に対し、真実な方である事を示す出来事は歴史的書物にも記録されています。キリスト者は皆信仰生活の中で神が成就された数々の約束やご自分のご計画のために用いて下さる事(エペソ2:8-10)、神が用意してくださったレースを走りきる事ができるように理解を超えた平安を与えて下さる事(ピリピ4:6-7;ヘブル12:1)から神が信頼に値する方である事がわかります。神の恵み、真実、善意を経験すればするほど私たちは神に信頼する事ができるのです(詩篇100:5; イザヤ25:1)。 また、私たちが神に信頼するべきもう一つの理由は、他に信頼に値する存在がいないからでしょう。私たちは罪深く、気まぐれで、当てにならない、知恵に限りがある、失敗を多く犯し、誤った決断をし、感情に流される、自分や他人を信頼するべきでしょうか？それとも私たちは全知全能であり、あわれみ深く愛に溢れた、全てを治めておられ、善である、聖なる神に信頼するべきでしょうか？答えは明確でしょうが、私たちは神をちゃんと知らないから神に信頼できないのです。上ですでに書かれているように、私たちはよく知らない相手を信頼する事はできません。神はご自分を隠されたり、わかりにくい形で示したりしませんでした。神はご自分を聖書にはっきりと示され、聖書を通して私たちは神を知り、信頼する事ができるのです。 [English] [日本語のホームページに戻る] 神に信頼するにはどうすればいいの？ Notice: JavaScript is required for this content.
