A shulker bullet is a guided projectile entity that is shot from shulkers, and they follow the targeted entity along its X, Y, or Z axis leaving trails of white particles. It not only deals damage to the mob or player but also activates certain contraptions for the player to access certain areas.
A shulker bullet that hits a mob or player deals damage and affects them with levitation for ten seconds. Levitation is a status effect that causes entities to levitate. The entity floats upward at a rate of 0.9×level blocks per second.
The bullet however is not indestructible, it can be destroyed by hitting it with any item, shooting it with an arrow, or blocking it with a shield. When the bullet is blocked, it explodes, but the explosion does not deal damage to the surrounding entities if any.
