Slow Pulp is a Madison, Wisconsin-based indie rock band that is now based in Chicago, Illinois. Teddy Mathews, Alex Leeds, and Henry Stoehr formed Slow Pulp after deciding to form a band as childhood friends. In 2015, they released their first EP, EP1, as a result of this. In 2017, they released EP2, their second EP, which featured new member Emily Massey for the first time. Big Day, the group’s second EP, was released in 2019. Slow Pulp announced Moveys, their first full-length album, in 2020, and it was released on October 9, 2020. Positive feedback was received on the album. Their genre is based on rock.
