A woman named Sophie Megan Hahn was born on January 23, 1997. She is an English parasport athlete who primarily competes in T38 sprint events. She was chosen for the T38 100m and 200m events at the 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships.

She broke the previous world record to win the 100-meter sprint.

She became the first female track and field athlete to hold gold medals in the same event during the World Championships, Paralympic Games, European Championships, and Commonwealth Games in 2018 after winning the T38 100 meters for women at the Commonwealth Games.

Her accomplishments mirror those of fellow Paralympian Dan Greaves and Olympic champions Daley Thompson, Linford Christie, Sally Gunnell, Jonathan Edwards, and Greg Rutherford in parasports.

Hahn, who has cerebral palsy, began competing in sports when he was 15 years old.

Her older brother, who was aware of her running speed and was inspired by the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, encouraged her to look for an athletics club. After her mother made contact with the local club, coach Joseph McDonnell invited Hahn for trials and accepted her.
