Experts in South Carolina are searching for a 5-year-old young lady who vanished after her mom was tracked down dead on Thanksgiving.

On Monday, the Orangeburg Region Sheriff’s Office reported the quest for Aspen Jeter through Facebook, sharing a photograph of her.

Police said they were called to do a government assistance check at a home in Orangeburg, South Carolina, on Thanksgiving.
