The speaker of Parliament S.K Bagbin has requested the quota of Ghanaians who perform yearly hajj to be increased.

This was revealed through a parliamentary update when Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Ghana called on the Speaker in the country’s parliament yesterday 31st March.

Mr. Bagbin’s main aim for the request is to enable at least twenty percent of Muslims to take part in the Hajj performance that takes place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia yearly.
