Schirripa worked in Las Vegas as a bouncer and later as a nightclub manager, before he became an actor. He also worked as a salesman for a food distribution company, it wasn’t until the early 1990s that Schirripa decided to pursue a career in acting.
His first big break was when he was cast as the character of Lenny in the Martin Scorsese film, Casino. In 1999, he was cast as Bobby Baccalieri, a recurring character in The Sopranos.
