Patitz was born in Hamburg, Germany, and was reared in Skanör, Sweden. Her father, a travel writer from Germany, organized for his family to travel and live abroad. Patitz’s mother, born in Estonia, danced at the legendary Le Lido nightclub in Paris.
Patitz is linked to the editorial, commercial, and fine-art photography of Herb Ritts and Peter Lindbergh. She was one of the big five supermodels in the 1990 George Michael song “Freedom! ’90” music video.

He is now well-known for his modelling career after being seen posing next to his mother in numerous Vogue photo shoots. She ultimately acknowledged in 2022 that her son was her “source of happiness” to the media.
