The incident was as a result of a rainstorm that wreaked havoc across the Kumasi Metropolis on Thursday evening.
The driver who was protecting himself from the rain decided to stay in his parked car and wait for the rain to subside only for the tree he was under fell directly on the car killing him in the process.
The car was damaged beyond repair and has been towed away by the police as they begin an investigation into the sudden catastrophe.
