Originally, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” concert movie was set to start screening at 6 p.m. (local time) on Friday, October 13. The reason behind the schedule change was Taylor Swift’s desire for the movie to premiere on her lucky number day.

According to reports from Deadline, the concert film is expected to make a strong debut, aiming for a $100 million opening domestically and an additional $50 million from overseas markets, resulting in a promising $150 million opening weekend.

Swift is set to host the world premiere of the film at The Grove in Los Angeles, where she’s likely to attract a massive crowd of enthusiastic Swifties. Following the premiere event, Taylor Swift took to her social media to confirm the exciting news.

In her Instagram post, she shared, “Andddd I can’t really wrap my head around this but…. Look what you genuinely made me do: Due to unprecedented demand we’re opening up early access showings of The Eras Tour Concert Film on THURSDAY in America and Canada!! As in… TOMORROW.”

She went on to explain that additional showtimes would be available on Friday and throughout the weekend. All tickets would go on sale at 10 a.m. the following day, providing fans with ample opportunity to experience the concert film. The film will also be available in 90 countries worldwide, allowing fans from around the globe to join in on the excitement.
