Athanasios “Thanasi” Kokkinakis, an Australian professional tennis player, was born on April 10, 1996. As of June 8, 2015, the ATP singles rankings for him peaked at number 69 in the world.

Thanasi Kokkinakis has won one ATP Tour singles championship, and his third-round showing at the 2015 French Open was his best Major singles achievement.

Additionally, Thanasi Kokkinakis has a career-high doubles ranking of 33, which he attained on April 4, 2022, after winning the Australian Open in 2022 and advancing to the Miami semifinals alongside fellow countrymen Nick Kyrgios.

As a junior, Thanasi Kokkinakis reached as high as the 10th spot in the global rankings. With his partner Nick Kyrgios, Thanasi Kokkinakis won the doubles title at the 2013 Wimbledon Championships, his only junior Grand Slam victory.

That same year, he also finished second in two other junior Grand Slam singles finals.
