His controversies in the media began in May 2018 when he was reported to have “staged” photographs for an independent photographer who make a living by taking photos of celebrities.

He was said to have staged the photos for money.

He revealed in an interview that he is the one who made his daughter Meghan who she is. He said this in relation to him having to take care of Meghan after his divorce with Meghan’s mother.

He appeared in paid interviews in which he made comments that were not palatable for his daughter Meghan.

He even published a letter he received from Meghan after her wedding in the United Kingdom. The content of this letter was later used against Meghan by the Daily Mail in their court case. He is reported to have been ready to testify against his own daughter for the mail.

Thomas Markle’s illness: What disease does Thomas Markle have?

Thomas Markle is said to be suffering from a stroke. This has made him speechless and unable to speak. In 2018, he had surgery on his heart. In 2020, Markle listed his health condition as follows:

“I have had a cold for 3 to 4 years, which is connected to my heart and lung issues.”

He added at the time that he could not walk for a longer period without panting.
