In 2013, he was playing for Atlético Madrid where he made his debut and later was sent to play on a loan for Mallorca and Almería.
He played on loan for two years and later came back to his team ‘Atlético Madrid’ in 2015 and he and the team won the UEFA Europa League and also the UEFA Super Cup in 2018.
He was later transferred to Arsenal for a sum of £40 million in 2020 and he was later known to be the most expensive Ghanaian player of all time.
