The 20-year-old was remembered by family and friends as a loving, caring girl who lived with her boyfriend, Donnie Barron, and was very close to her mother, Christina.
Tiffanie Adams Murder: Where Is Johnus Or Now?
Johnus went on trial in June 2016 for the murders of his stepsister Tiffanie Adams and her eight-month-old unborn child. The jury’s decision was aided by his ex-wife Amber’s evidence.
She claimed that on the day Tiffanie vanished, he texted her from an unidentified number; however, phone record data later revealed that the number was Tiffanie’s.
As a result, Johnus was found guilty of both counts of murder on July 1, 2016, and on July 29, 2016, he was given a 120-year prison term.
He contested the conviction for a number of reasons, including the admissibility of the evidence and the jury instructions.
However, his appeal was denied in February 2018 and the court upheld its earlier ruling.
According to the documents, Johnus will be released on January 20, 20104 from the Miami Correctional Level 3 Facility in Bunker Hill, Indiana.
