A video of Tiffany Haddish following Shakira at MTV VMAs on Tuesday has gone viral. Other photos showed Haddish photobombing her on the same night.

One of the pictures showed Haddish photobombing Shakira and Karol G. In another photo, Haddish appeared to photobomb Shakira as she was posing with her awards on the pink carpet of the awards show.

In a video, Haddish seemed to repeatedly yell, “Shakira, Shakira,” which incidentally is also the lyrics from the Latino singer’s song ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ as she followed the latter throughout a back room at the event. Shakira seemed to be doing a fairly good job avoiding Haddish as she greeted some of the attendees and took pictures with them. Haddish was seen photobombing yet another picture where Shakira was posing.

Haddish was also trolled by social media users on the night of the event due to her appearance. She was scheduled to present the award for “Best Afrobeats Song” at the VMAs, a prestigious moment for any presenter. However, some individuals on Twitter used this as an opportunity to voice their grievances about Haddish.

One tweet read, “It’s crazy how Tiffany Haddish stays booked even as a child predator.” This accusation appears to reference unverified allegations against Haddish. It’s important to note that Haddish has not been officially charged or convicted of any such offense, and these claims should be treated with caution.

Another tweet simply stated, “Tiffany Haddish on my screen.” While this tweet may seem innocuous at first glance, it reflects the sentiment that not everyone was thrilled to see Haddish during the broadcast.

Another Twitter user added, “Tiffany Haddish, we ain’t forget you’re a predator lol.” This tweet further perpetuates the allegations against Haddish but lacks concrete evidence to support such claims.

The backlash continued with another tweet asking, “Why is Tiffany Haddish allowed to be on my screen? Did everybody just nod and forget?”
