Timothy Tarpeh Weah, is a professional soccer player, he plays as a winger, and also competes for both the United States national team and Ligue 1 club Lille, he was born on February 22, 2000.
Weah learned how to play soccer from his father, and competed for West Pines United in Florida, before returning to New York and joining his uncle’s Rosedale Soccer Club in Queens. Weah spent three seasons with the U.S. Soccer Development Academy team, known as BW Gottschee before transferring to the New York Red Bulls Academy in 2013. At the age of 13, he underwent a trial with Chelsea. In order to enroll in the Paris Saint-Germain Academy, Weah was moved to France in 2014. He scored a hat-trick in PSG’s 8-1 UEFA Youth League triumph over the Bulgarian team Ludogorets Razgrad in his first game with the academy team.
