Ursula Lehr is a German academic, researcher and politician. Born on 5 June 1930 in Frankfurt, Germany. She was the eldest daughter of two younger siblings.

Having chaired the University of Heidelberg from 1986, Lehr also served as federal minister of youth, family, women and health for 3 years. She also held several positions in the academic space.

In her academic career, she started at the University of Frankfurt and then later moved to the University of Bonn where her husband who married at the age of 19 workplaces was located.

Her tragic death occurred on Monday, April 25, 2022, in Germany. The cause of death is still unknown. The educationist died at the age of 91.

She married again after the death of his first husband and in all, she had two sons. In her political world, Lehr was a member of the Christian Democratic Union in 1986.

In that same year, she became the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs where she decided to improve the age through scientific research, as well as empowering women and the youth.
