Charterhouse, the organisers of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards have decided to lift the indefinite ban placed on Ghanaian dancehall musicians, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

An indefinite ban was placed on the duo after their scuffle at VGMA 2019 which nearly spoilt the awards night.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Robert Klah, Head of Public Events and PRO at Charterhouse said board members of the awards scheme had a discussion on when to lift the ban on Shatta and Stonebwoy.

“It was in principle decided that the ban should be lifted,” Robert Klah told Andy Dosty, host of the show.

Robert Klah further said that an official annoucement would be made by Charterhouse after they meet up with Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale to sort out their differences.

“There is a reason why this altercation happened and you want to be sure that they don’t resurface. You want to have that kind of conversation to understand and agree on how things should move,” he told the host Andy Dosty.
