John Dumelo disclosed in a new video how he schooled Akuapem Poloo’s lawyers on how to secure bail for Akuapem Poloo.
The Actor cum businessman in the video noted that he was lambasted in the past when he stated that Akuapem Poloo can be granted bail even though he has been sentenced.
John Dumelo quoted the Criminal and other Offences Act 13 1960 as his evidence.
He read: “A person may be granted bail upon conviction pending an appeal. It is an application made by an accused person after his conviction pending an appeal against the conviction.
The court at thus always cautious to grant bail pending an appeal…..”
He stated that it is an outlined procedure which people can always follow.
Akuapem Poloo has been granted an Ghc80K bail after she was initially sentenced to 90 days imprisonment.
