McBain is best known for her roles on the ABC series Surfside 6 and in the 1966 movie Spinout, in which she co-starred with Elvis Presley. Glendale High School was where McBain completed her high school education. She moved to the Hollywood area when she was young, and as a teenager, she started working in print and television commercials. McBain had a son named Evan Andrew Burke thanks to her marriage to Rodney L. Burke, which lasted from 1972 to 1974.
Sadly, McBain’s confidant Michael Gregg Michaud confirmed and announced her passing on December 21, 2022, at the age of 81. At the Motion Picture and Television Country House and Hospital in Woodland Hills, California, she fought liver cancer. McBain was noticed by a Warner Bros talent scout during her senior year of high school while performing in a Los Angeles play and was added to the studio’s roster of contract actors.
