Joseph Sydney Kerin and Mary Louise Kerin were John’s parents when he was born on November 21st, 1937. Because of his early political activity, Kerin went on to become an economist in Australia and a Labor Party politician.

From 1972 until 1975, Bowral, New South Wales resident Kerin, an Australian, sat in the House of Representatives. In 1978–93, he held the position once more.

Before being chosen for a key post at the Australian Meat and Livestock Corporation, Kerin, who left the parliament in 1993, held a number of high-level ministerial positions in both the Hawke and Keating Governments.

To continue his involvement in a variety of public policy concerns in Australia, where his political career was successful, Kerin joined multiple boards of various charities and businesses.

John Kerin kept his vaccination history under wraps. Because of this, it will never be known if he had a vaccination after he passed away on March 29, 2023. After Kerin passed away at the age of 85, his family and close friends were grieved by the outpouring of tributes.
