Gujarat Titans (GT), who will likely be making their Indian Premier League (IPL) debut within the upcoming season, launched their anthem track on Friday. The track “Aava De,” a Gujarati time period for “convey it on,” tries to seize the assorted hues of the state the franchise will likely be representing.

The anthem track options Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya, opener Shubman Gill and all-rounder Rahul Tewatia, amongst others. Hardik (₹15 crore) and Gill (₹8 crore) have been picked from the draft listing, whereas Tewatia was bought on the public sale for ₹9 crore.

The Gujarat franchise shared the anthem track on their official YouTube channel with the caption:

“C’mon, c’mon everyone say – Aava De, Aava De! Anthem pe chalna chahiye, #TitansFAM!”

Rashid Khan, Mohammed Shami, Lockie Ferguson, David Miller and Matthew Wade are a number of the different key members of the GT squad.

Former India opener Aakash Chopra feels that Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya should bat at No. 4 to lend some solidity to the line-up.

Chopra described the GT batting as a weak hyperlink, which may harm the franchise’s possibilities. Talking on his YouTube channel, he mentioned:

“Hardik Pandya should bat at No.4. If he doesn’t bat there, it will be an enormous mistake. “No.3 can be an issue. They’ll play Vijay Shankar, Wriddhiman Saha, however I can’t see another choice. I feel they’ll go along with Shankar.”

Discussing the opening slots, he picked Matthew Wade to start the innings with Gill. Chopra added:

“There’s a drawback with the batting. Shubman Gill as opener is okay. Gill’s greatest is but to come back and I feel it will likely be for Gujarat Titans. I feel with Jason Roy gone they’ll open with Matthew Wade. They’ve picked Rahmanullah Gurbaz, however I feel they’ll go along with Wade.”

The Gujarat Titans will kick-off their IPL 2022 marketing campaign by taking over the Lucknow Tremendous Giants on the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 28.
