Kylen Granson is a tight-end American football player who now plays for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League. Kylen participated in college football for Rice and SMU prior to being taken by the Colts in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Westlake High School was Granson’s alma mater, despite the fact that he was born in DeMotte, Indiana. Granson grew up in Austin, Texas.

Granson was recognized as a member of the All-District 14-6A second team during his senior year. Kylen Granson made the decision to play college football at Rice rather than accept a scholarship offer from Harvard, despite the fact that Harvard had recruited him to play college football there.

Granson was awarded a scholarship, but due to NCAA transfer requirements, he had to sit out his first season at SMU. Despite this, he still ended up playing for the Mustangs. After accumulating 43 receptions, 721 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns during his redshirt junior season, Kylen Granson was selected to the second team of the All-American Athletic Conference (AAC).

What College Did Kylen Granson Attend?

In the beginning, he decided to attend Austin Community College so that he could try out for the Texas Longhorns as a walk-on.

It was pure chance that brought Granson and Bailiff together on the UT Austin campus. Without knowing it, Bailiff contacted college coaches on Granson’s behalf, despite the fact that he had already left Rice.
