Carlos Samuel Blixen Abella was an Uruguayan basketball player born in 1936, in Montevideo, Uruguay on the 27 December. He became popular when he won a bronze medal with the men’s national team at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia.

He played 17 seasons and that was between the year 1954 and 1970, uninterruptedly in the first team of the Pocitos Reds that was when he came back after four years.

When he became seventeen years, he made the first debut of his career. He spent 20 seasons when his campaign extended from the moment he joined the Onions until his retirement. He achieved that from the rough floor when he was able to enter through the headquarters of Avenida Brasil.

In the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games which were held, he has deemed an emblem of Trouville and an Olympic medallist as an award. He was a good player and was known by all.

What Did Carlos Blixen Die Of?

He died on the 1st of August 2022 and what he died of is still not known by the media. He died at the age of 85 years and the family is yet to make it known to the media what killed him.
