American actor and musician Lance Reddick was born on December 31, 1962, in Baltimore, Maryland. While still a teenager, he completed the Walden School’s summer music theory and composition course and enrolled in the Peabody Preparatory Institute.

On The Wire, he plays Cedric Daniels (2008). At the Fringe Festival that same year, he performed as Philip Broyles (TV series). His most well-known performance was as Detective Johnny Basil on the Oz (TV series).

Reddick portrayed Charon in the John Wick movie series. Several movies, including Godzilla vs. Kong, Faith-Based, Little Woods, and others include Lance Reddick as a character.

Reddick’s first CD, “Contemplations & Remembrances,” was released in 2007. 2013’s “White House Down” featured him. He took part in the “DR0NE” web series on YouTube.

According to TMZ, who broke the story first, Reddick was discovered dead at his Studio City residence in Los Angeles, California, on Friday morning at around 9:30 AM. It is still unknown what exactly caused his death. But, according to a different account, Reddick passed away peacefully.
