The sole son of the Gbadebo Oyekan family, unsin Oyekan was born in Ilorin, Nigeria, on November 5, 1984. He attended Ilorin’s Airforce Nursery and Primary School. Following completion of his basic school, he continued his studies at the Baptist Model High School in Ilorin before leaving for his senior education at the Federal Government College in Ilorin.
He then travelled to the University of Ilorin in Kwara State to enrol in the Industrial Chemistry program there. Dunsin Oyekan was married to Adedoyin Oyekan, who is late and is the father of two beautiful children.

Dunsin’s father persuaded him to take guitar lessons since he shared his love of music and songwriting. He consequently began singing and playing the guitar when he was just ten years old.

Drums, guitar, and keyboard are just a few of the instruments that music producer Dunsin Oyekan can perform. The award-winning choir Avalanche of the Common Wealth of Zion Assembly once had Dunsin as its music director (COZA).
Code Red, Dunsin’s debut album with 14 tracks, was released in 2016. He has so far put out more than thirty tracks, including the well-known Na You with American gospel vocalist Kim Burrell.

What Does Dunsin Oyekan Do For A Living?

Besides singing, writing, producing, and playing instruments, Dunsin Oyekan is a Nigerian gospel singer. He goes by the moniker The Eagle. Dunsin Oyekan is the organizer of the Code Red Worship Experience.
