On the second season of Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, which was founded by Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller, Siwa made her professional dance debut as the youngest contestant and a top-5 finalist. When she joined her mother on the show, she was eliminated in week nine.

Tom and Jessalyn Siwa welcomed JoJo into the world in Omaha, Nebraska in 2003. Tom is a chiropractor, and Jessalyn teaches dance, so that explains how JoJo initially became interested in dance.
Jayden, a boy born to the two in 2000, is also a parent. The family is currently residing in a $3 million Los Angeles property that JoJo purchased in December 2019.
