On Monday, February 6, 2023, Lonnie Alford Beam showed up at the KFC Parking area on Sumter Hwy in Bishopville with a French Bulldog that he had wanted to sell. Not long after his appearance, Beam was trapped by a few dognappers who killed him and ran away from the area with the canine.
