Where do Cave spiders spawn?
Their names make it quite obvious to figure out that they spawn in dark caves and mineshafts. They spawn from spawners that are at a light level of 0. They are exclusively found underground and they will never spawn above ground naturally.
How do Cave spiders behave?
The Cave spider inherits a lot of its behavior from normal spiders. They are neutral in well-lit environments with a light level of 9 or higher. They can climb walls and squeeze through holes as small as half a block. They are resistant to poison and unaffected by cobwebs.
